When organizations go through major changes, people react differently—and leaders often assume others need what they themselves would want. This session helps you understand how individuals process change, what they truly need during periods of uncertainty, and how small, targeted actions can make a profound difference. You’ll learn how to shorten the gap between disorientation and re-orientation and adapt your communication so your message lands with clarity, empathy, and impact.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand Individual Reactions to Organizational Change: Learn how employees process and respond to change differently and identify ways to tailor communication to meet their specific needs during transitions.
- Improve Communication During Change: Develop strategies for adapting your messaging about organizational change to resonate with diverse audiences, ensuring clarity and minimizing misunderstandings.
- Shorten the Disorientation-Re-orientation Cycle: Gain insights into how to reduce the time employees spend feeling disoriented by change, helping them reorient more quickly and maintain productivity.
- Enhance Morale and Retention During Change: Learn techniques to maintain employee morale during times of change and reduce turnover by addressing their concerns and demonstrating support.
- Implement Targeted Actions for Effective Leadership: Identify small, specific actions that can have a significant positive impact on employees' experience during organizational change, fostering a smoother transition
